We had a very nice time at the Pathway Inn.  It was our first B&B experience and we were very impressed.  We were celebrating our 10th anniversary and the Lindbergh room was so romantic and the house is so beautiful and welcoming.  The bed and linens were simply the most luxurious I have ever experienced. We returned home rested and with many happy memories.  The food was outstanding and the excellent personal attention was better than anything we've ever received at a hotel.  The elegant dishes and place settings in the dining room made us feel like a king and queen.  Thanks for your excellent hospitality.  We plan to return in the future.

Just a short note to let you know that the rest of our trip went as well as our visit to Americus and the Pathway Inn.  We are still raving about your inn, the breakfasts - particularly those marvelous sausages, and we are looking forward to our first authentic Georgia pecan pie.

Again, our sincerest thanks for your warm hospitality during our recent visit.

Hi Angela,

Michael and I just want to say thank you for a lovely two-night stay in Americus.  The Pathway was beautiful and so comfortable. We also enjoyed talking to Chuck about raising sons and living in small Southern towns.

I'm sure we'll be back to Americus next year and look forward to seeing you all again. Of course, we'll recommend the Pathway to anybody and everybody who passes through our favorite city.

Blessings to you and yours,

Chuck and Angela -

We would like to thank you for hosting us Thursday night.

Your inn is beautiful, the hospitality is unmatched and the food is awesome.  I just wish we had more time to see Americus and visit with you guys.  We had an uneventful drive home - thank goodness and even thought the bed at the Pathway Inn was the best of our entire vacation (and the room was the most comfortable), it was still nice to get home.....

Thank you again for your hospitality - and we hope to visit with you again soon.  If you're ever in the Saint Augustine area, please look us up.........

Randall and I wanted to tell you thank you so much for having us at your wonderful bed and breakfast.  Since it was our 1st time we really didn't know what to expect but we certainly didn't expect it would be as perfect as it was.  Our room was so amazing, we are already missing the bed and we have decided that we have to buy robes for our house.  The breakfast every morning was so great!  We really did not expect to get so many goodies.  We are dying for the recipe for the little muffins, they were our favorite.  The whole town of Americus was so nice and the people everywhere were so sweet.  We know we had the best 1st anniversary because we came to your bed and breakfast.  We just can't say thanks enough.  Everything was just so perfect and we thank you both so much for making it all possible.

My parents told me my grandparents signed in your guestbook all in JAPANESE! You must wonder what they mean. My parents asked me to translate it for you so you will not wonder if they wrote something good or bad.  My parents are coming back to see my graduation in December and they are so excited about visiting your inn again.

Thank you very much and I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,
Yuka Magatani

P.S. I love your website. It is so beautiful, well organized and so easy to understand!

Just a quick note to say what an enjoyable time I had when I stayed at your B&B last week. It was very nice to see you again and to meet Chuck. I really enjoyed my stay and loved the wireless internet. The balcony off the Lindbergh room was
a great place to spend some time.

Thanks again for all your hospitality.

Comments: Dear Chuck and Angela: While our visit was only one night. It was a time to remember. At the end of the long drive from Palm Beach was a surprise welcome to your magnificent mansion with its wonderful object d'art and well designed stately interior.  Our two Italian Greyhounds were well received and enjoyed their treats. Chuck made a delicious, well presented breakfast, and we enjoyed his wealth of information about many subjects.  You're both are very talented and know how to manage your inn professionally. We look forward to returning in the future.

"Your Town" is doing it's job keeping history alive by renovating old homes and buildings. We were so impressed with the structure of  The Windsor Hotel as well as the 1906 Pathway Inn. We will be back to do this again!!

Traveling in your own airplane is great, especially when you meet great people like Chuck & Angela. They were kind enough to pick us up at the Americus airport, and their hospitality was nothing short of superb. Their inn is the best we've ever seen in all of our travels, and we'll certainly return as soon as we can.

Thank you again and we have told many of our friends about you and have encouraged them to visit you. I can honestly say that the Pathway Inn Bed and Breakfast is Santa Certified!

With all of my food allergies I developed a few years ago, that was the best series of breakfasts I've had in AGES and I really, really, really miss the hash browns. We've tried making them from scratch and tried every frozen type there is but nothing works. Loved that peach dish (sans the dairy), too.
Had a weird winter here in Central Fla - from 90 degree days to 5 straight days below 30.
Ya'll have a great place - hope we make it back someday. Chuck? If you'd ever consider sharing your hash brown secret.... Cathy

exquisite breakfast surpassed any I have ever had and the hospitality was the best in the
south. Sooooo....that is why we are coming back in March !!! and we cant wait. This time in
stead of bringing our 2 grandchildren, we are bringing our 84 year old mother and her 88 year
old sister,...and we know they will love it as much as we do. We want them to experience the
wonderful elegant treatment that we received last June. Look forward to seeing Angela and
Chuck again...Chuck's breakfasts are absolutely the very best! (We are really wondering how you
can match the one we had last June!!) Everyone needs to enjoy the beauty, serenity, elegance of
the 1906 Pathway Inn while passing through, or just make a special trip there, it is so worth
it!!!

Jill and I just wanted to tell you thank you again for being so wonderful during our stay this past weekend. The house is decorated beautifully and comfortably. Both of you went out of your way to make our visit go as smoothly as possible. The breakfast was excellent! The room was very comfortable and we needed nothing that wasn't already there or thought of. You both have a way of really making people feel relaxed and at home but at the same time are not excessively attentive.

We wish you two the very best in the future and will recommend your 'inn' at any chance we get.

Thanks again,
Lisa & Jill

The "company" was great and the breakfast was wonderful. Is there any way you could give me the name of the maker of that great sausage? I would love to be able to have some of that here in Sarasota.

Thanks again for being such good hosts.

My husband is a Civil War History buff and we were able to stop at Andersonville on our way down and the Mennonite Restaurant for some good "home cooking". We also enjoy hiking and took advantage of the numerous trails at nearby Providence Canyon. The 1906 Pathway Inn is definitely one of the best bed and breakfasts we've stayed at- Chuck and Angela were wonderful hosts. Chuck's culinary talents are worth a visit alone- I would drive from Atlanta to enjoy one of his wonderful breakfasts anytime!

"Larry and I spent most of our summer apart, but the highlight was sneaking away for a romantic rendezvous at the Pathway Inn. It was the perfect setting, and the delicious breakfast made even better by the company." --Sandee & Larry Wright (Timberwolf Creek)

"Hands down the most elegant of all the B&Bs I've been in! Chuck and Angela went all out to make me comfortable and welcome. Do ask to see their restaurant scrapbook -what a great idea." --Sandee Wright (Timberwolf Creek)
"You were right about the Pathway Inn in Americus, Ga. We would even call it 'opulent.' We greatly enjoyed our stay and visit with Chuck and Angela. They are interesting people who have 'remade' their lives several times. Wish we had more time to visit with them. And then Chuck shamed us with his breakfast! It was wonderful and he was kind enough to share a few of his secrets. For breakfast we had a fruit compote, stuffed French toast, bacon and sausage, hash browns, etc. Chuck went through his recipe for eggs poached in white wine sauce. He is quite a cook. We also took a spin through Jimmy Carter country in Plains and Andersonville prison just out of Americus. It was great!"
