If you are planning on staying
in Americus for more than a few days or you want a romantic and secluded getaway
you may want to consider our Lake View Cottage.
This one bedroom cottage is on the edge of a beautiful lake just minutes from the center
of town and yet it seems like it is miles from the rest of the world. So
peaceful and serene you will think you are in the middle of nowhere and the sunrises are spectacular. The peace and quite
will often bring deer into the yard and on the water you
can enjoy watching the ducks and geese. The cottage
is equipped with a wall unit for heat and a/c.
There is also a large fan and electric radiator in the
bedroom. There is a small fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, 4 burner range, coffee
maker and toaster. We also supply pots, pans,
mixing bowls, cutlery, china
and glasses as well as plenty of towels and linen.
On the patio we have rocking chairs and a small table
along with a round patio table with umbrella and four
chairs. There is also a small barbecue. The large living room
overlooks the lake and is fully
furnished including a flat screen TV with basic cable and
a DVD
player. The cottage also has wireless internet
access and a personal phone with mail box that can be
remotely accessed while you are out so you can check
messages. The bedroom has a queen size bed,
walk in wardrobe, dresser and small armoire and the
bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and sink. There is
also covered off street parking. The cottage is self catering however to get you started we
do provide some basics such as milk, coffee, tea, cereal
and condiments. We also provide soft drinks and water in the
refrigerator. For stays of one week or more maid
service is provide once a week when a fresh batch of towels and
linens will be provided. There is a two
day minimum stay for the Lake View Cottage
and rates are as follows:
