WEDDING AND RECEPTION POLICIES

1. ARRIVAL: Whilst you have access to the inn from 12 noon on the day of arrival we would suggest that you only have the members of your party who are helping with set up arrive at this time. We would advise that you do not have any wedding guests arriving until a set time of no more than thirty minutes before the start of the wedding. For any guests arriving earlier we would recommend they visit the Andersonville Historic site, the Plains Historic site, or our Main Street shops or restaurants. Overnight guests can check in from 3 pm.

2. Please note, nothing may be thrown after the Ceremony, including but not limited to birdseed, rice, flower petals, glitter, confetti, etc. Bubbles are permitted but should be kept to outside.

3. SMOKING: Smoking is restricted to the outside areas only. Smoking is not allowed in any area of the inn.

4. CATERER: A licensed Caterer must be approved by 1906 Pathway Inn and a copy of their current Caterer's License and of their Insurance Policy must be on file prior to the event. If you are self catering a copy of the inns disclaimer must be signed prior to the event. The 1906 Pathway Inn will be happy to cater your wedding but only for 25 guests or less. Prices for our catering start at $7.50 per head for a finger buffet, with a minimum fee of $150.

5. GUEST COUNT: The whole house rental is $1025 and covers rental of the house for a 24 hour period and overnight accommodation for up to 12 guests in our six guest rooms. Additional guests (5) can be accommodated overnight. The bell room and Carter room can accommodate up to 2 additional people and the Rosalynn or Roosevelt room can accommodate 1 additional person. Additional overnight accommodation is $20 per person. The above rental fee is for a maximum of 28 other wedding guests, for a total of 40 guests (12 overnight guests + 28 other wedding guests). Additional wedding guests over the 40 will be charged for at $5.50 per head. The maximum number of guests for an inside/outside wedding is 75. A second nights accommodation rental of the whole house can be added for $650 (normal rate would be $682) and will allow you access to the house earlier on the wedding day if you reserve the whole house accommodation the night before the wedding.

6. DAMAGE & LOSS: The Client agrees to pay for any damages or loss done to the public spaces, guest rooms, and outside area of the premises used by the Client and under the control of the Client for the Special Event. 1906 Pathway Inn property will be repaired and/or returned to its original condition for a full refund of Security Deposit.

7. CLIENT DAMAGE & LOSS: 1906 Pathway Inn will not assume any responsibility for damage or loss of property of the Client, Client's guests, or subcontractors, during, before, or after the Wedding contracted by the Client.

8. OVERTIME: The overtime fee is $200 per hour. Events must be concluded by 8:00 PM. If your event continues after this time you will be charged at $200 per hour or part thereof in 15-minute increments; there will be no exceptions. We need to begin clean up at this time in order to be ready for breakfast in the morning. Partying is not permitted in the guest rooms, if you wish to continue it must be done off-premises. Also, please be advised that Guests who are not registered to spend the night at the Inn are not permitted to stay at the inn after 9 pm unless with the express permission of the innkeepers.

9. SECURITY DEPOSIT: There is a $500.00 refundable Security Deposit, normally mailed within 24 hours, unless there is damage or loss in which case we will personally contact the Client.

10. PAYMENT: A 10% deposit is required to hold the reservation date and should be returned with this signed contract. The security deposit and a further 50% of the total wedding contract is due no less than eight weeks from the date of the event. The remaining balance is due one week before the event.

11. CANCELLATION: If there is a cancellation there is no refund on the prepaid amounts of your package, with the exception of your Security Deposit

12. INSURANCE: Client is required to provide a Certificate of Insurance in the form of a Special Event Rider attached to their standard Homeowners Policy, to include proof of one day special event coverage for a Wedding at the 1906 Pathway Inn in the amount of $1,000,000. If the client does not have Homeowners Insurance, in lieu of this rider the Client is required to provide a “Wedding Insurance” policy in the amount of $1,000,000. Please be sure to list 1906 Pathway Inn as Additional Insured on either of the above policies. A copy of the Insurance Certificate must be provided with the deposit required eight weeks before the event.

13. VISITS PRIOR TO EVENT: Visits to the inn prior to the event are recommended to be mid week between 12.00 and 3.00pm or on Sundays between 12.00 and 5.00 pm. Please call before hand to ensure someone will be here to meet you.

14. CHILDREN: Children are welcome at the 1906 Pathway Inn. Children are those young people 12 years of age and younger. We require that all children in attendance be supervised either by adults attending the Wedding or by a Child Care Provider. We also request that children do not go into the guestrooms, unless the overnight guest staying in that room accompanies them.

15. FLOWERS: Any decorations or flower arrangements, throughout the Inn and gardens, provided by the 1906 Pathway Inn for the Bride’s Wedding Day will remain the property of the 1906 Pathway Inn and are to stay on the premises. If flowers or decorations are disturbed or removed from the Inn, the Client agrees to pay for their replacement.

16. YOUR SCHEDULE: We would like to receive a copy of your planned itinerary or schedule of events with the signed contract. If you have significant changes from this schedule it is requested that you notify the 1906 Pathway Inn for review and agreement.
